In This Together
We are here for – and because of – our customers, our employees, and our communities. Especially in challenging times, it’s our responsibility to stay committed to all of you.
Focusing on What Matters
Our Customers
Every business faces similar challenges, and we’re all interconnected. By supporting our customers with resources and reliability, we’re helping businesses stay strong.
Our Employees
We are a people-first company. By advocating remote work while remaining flexible and supportive – even amid child and pet care – we’re providing a safe, secure workplace.
Our Communities
Media Temple has roots in Los Angeles and around the world. By championing guidelines like social distancing, we’re helping ensure the health of our communities.
What We’re Doing
Since the onset of the pandemic, we’ve worked to protect our staff and communities while ensuring a high level of service and support for our customers.
Working Remotely
Many of our teams have been distributed for the past few years, including Engineering and Support. As of March 12, we’ve shifted our typical in-office team to work from home and help prevent spread of the virus.
Securing Uptime
Since our workforce began social distancing, we’ve continuously provided 24/7 support with no interruptions in hosting services due to staffing issues. You can be confident this will remain true.
Solving for Speed
Additional traffic and shifted network stress has increased latency across the internet. We worked to improve site performance for our services across the board. Keep tabs on your service status here.
More from Media Temple
You can count on us to continually look for new ways to help your business stay online, now and always.
Care Packages
To lend a hand to the creative community, we’re sending out care packages bundled with sought-after items like hand sanitizer and toilet paper. Let us know if you’d like one. (They’re available while supplies last, and for customers only.)
Domain Redemption
If you’ve had an expired domain move past its renewal grace period, we’re temporarily waiving the redemption fee. Chat or call our support team for help regaining ownership of your domain.
Payment Support
We understand the business impact of the pandemic. If you or your clients are facing challenges in continuing a Media Temple service, please contact us to have a conversation about possible options.

Learn to Run Remotely
Pick up best practices for keeping your culture and productivity up, directly from the agency community. Bureau of Digital is hosting webinars across a range of topics.
Clue in on Conferences
Find a digital-marketing conference that your team can attend virtually. The always-useful list at MarketingTerms.com is keeping track of who has shifted online.
Wake Up to Creativity
Social distancing doesn’t have to keep you from being inspired by fellow creatives. Creative Mornings has moved many of its upcoming talks and FieldTrips workshops online.

Apply for a Micro-Grant
GoFundMe.org’s Small Business Relief Fund provides micro-grants to qualifying small businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Plus, the GoFundMe blog offers Seven Ways to Get Help for Coronavirus Relief.
Receive CARES Act Relief
On March 27, 2020, the CARES Act released $376 billion in relief for American workers and small businesses. You can look into what relief options are available for your business here.
Circle a New Tax Day
While the U.S. Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service have extended the federal income tax filing deadline so you can focus on adjusting your day-to-day schedule, be sure to note the new deadline July 15, 2020.

Keep Conversations Going
We find team messaging apps like Slack and Microsoft Teams to be a huge boon for communicating across time zones. Both offer freemium versions, and Teams is included in O365 subscriptions.
Embrace the Face-to-Face
Sharing facetime with clients and colleagues can breathe life into the workday. Luckily, tons of video-conferencing options are available. Zoom has a free Basic plan. Amazon Chime is free for first-time users through June 30. And G Suite subscriptions include Hangouts Meet.
Ideate with Your Team
Feel like nothing can replace the office whiteboard? Miro gives you a wide-open workspace to brainstorm, diagram, and discuss with collaborators in real time. A freemium model lets you experiment for free.
