EOL is an acronym for End Of Life. Hosting related technology and services develop quickly and are constantly changing. Periodically, some products become antiquated or deprecated due to major enhancements and/or because a third-party vendor has discontinued support or future development.

Urchin software is a client-hosted web analytics software solution. We had offered this as an add-on service for our DV server customers. Current licenses will no longer be valid after June 1, 2012.

What does this mean to me?

This means that as of June 1, 2012, you will no longer have a valid license for your Urchin software. You will no longer be charged for this license and the service will be closed.

What should I do?

We recommend that export your data from Urchin and begin using an alternate statistic software.

Export data

To export data from any report, select the appropriate type based on the application you plan to use to manipulate the data. For general database importing, use tab-separated format. For Word and Excel export, the application should launch automatically after the data is exported, and the new document should be populated with the data you have exported.

  • Tab: Click the "T" button to export data in tab-delimited format.
  • Word: Click the Word icon to export data in Microsoft Word native format.
  • Excel: click the Excel icon to export data in Microsoft Excel native format.

To export data to a database, tab-separated is usually the preferred format.
