Overview

Setting an outgoing limitation on the number of emails that can be sent from your server can actually be quite beneficial for the health of your server. This is especially true if your server has multiple email addresses, where you may not be able to monitor all of them on a regular basis. Setting outgoing limitations can help prevent outgoing spam, minimize your disk space usage, and also help maintain a good IP reputation for spam filters and real time ban lists (RBL).
