Overview
Clearing your web browser's cache can help with viewing recently changed web pages if they are not displaying properly. The following describes how to clear the cache for some of today's popular browsers.

It is very important that you stay current with the latest browser versions. Failing to do so could leave your computer vulnerable. Since the use of outdated software is not a good practice, we will only provide information about the latest versions of the most popular web browsers.
Clearing Cache on Mozilla Firefox 68
- Open Firefox.
- On the top menu bar, click on Firefox to open the drop-down menu.
- Choose the Preferences option.
- Select the Privacy & Security tab.
- Locate the Cookies and Site Data section. Then click Clear Data.
- Select the items you want to remove.
- Click Clear.
- Exit and relaunch the browser.
Clearing Cache on Google Chrome 84
- Launch Google Chrome.
- On the top menu bar, click on Chrome to open the drop-down menu.
- Select Clear Browsing Data.
- Select the items you want to remove.
- Select the time period you want. If you want to delete everything, you can select "All Time".
- Click the Clear Data button.
- Exit and relaunch the browser.

- Open Safari.
- On the top menu bar, click on Safari to open the drop-down menu.
- Click on Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Ensure Show Develop menu in menu bar is enabled.
- Then, click on Develop in the top menu bar.
- Click on Empty Caches.
- Exit and relaunch the browser.

- Open Microsoft Edge
- Click on the
icon in the top right to open the drop-down menu.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on the Privacy & services tab.
- Locate the Clear browsing data section. Then click Choose what to clear.
- Select the items you want to remove.
- Click Clear now.
- Exit and relaunch the browser

- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click the
icon in the top right to open the drop-down menu.
- Click on Internet options.
- While in the General tab, look for the Browsing history section. Then click Delete.
- Select the items you want to remove.
- Click Delete.
- Close and relaunch your browser.

- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Safari.
- Tap Clear History and Website Data
- In the popup, tap Clear History and Data to confirm.
