Re-architected MySQL system
(mt) Media Temple recently revamped the MySQL system on the (gs) Grid-Service. After extensive research and analysis, (mt) now offers two new MySQL options. MySQL SmartPool v.2, the default option, is a system which offers performance comparable to industry-wide shared hosting systems. MySQL GridContainers, the second option, is an industry first which gives a customer their own dedicated MySQL server within the Grid-Service. This option is designed for customers who demand a higher level of control, database islolation, scalability and mission-critical reliability. |
