I found Media Temple on launch day of NetHackz.com. Our first article was heavily dugg, landing on the front page and achieved almost 1400 diggs. 11 or 12 hours into the dig our crashed. The only fix our host could offer was to shut the site down. Rather than wait it out, I signed up for a Media Temple account. I talked to a technician at about 5AM EST. Then, I moved the database files and the theme over. When all was said and done, NetHackz was down for approximately 9 hours — but the digg sent us close to 45,000 unique visitors. Yesterday, NetHackz got dugg for the second time this month. 50,000 uniques later, NetHackz is still standing strong and I couldn't be more pleased. I went through the day not having to worry about a slow site or a non-responsive host. It really was a great feeling.
Axiium is the parent organization of the Hackz network. At Axiium.com, we offer blogging related services, Internet promotion, blog design, etc. The true purpose for Axiium, though, is to continually bring new content to our readers through the Hackz sites: marketinghackz.com, nethackz.com, pchackz.com, and machackz.com (will be launching shortly). It is our hope to have 6-8 sites up and running by year-end.
