ABC, Inc., is part of the Walt Disney Company Media Networks division. The Disney-ABC Television Group is just one facet of the Disney media division, yet is home to all of Disney's worldwide entertainment and news television properties.
In 2006, a long time (mt) partner, Hi-Res!, referred ABC to Media Temple after the network inquired about a web host that could be trusted to support the interactive viral marketing element for one of the network's most valuable series, "Lost," which premiered in the United States in 2004, along with a (mt) hosted viral marketing campaign called "The Lost Experience."
