As cloud adoption is in full swing, so to is cloud spending. Particularly at the enterprise level.
This month, industry analyst firm 451 Research released their latest research piece , The Voice of the Enterprise: Hosting and Cloud Managed Services, Budgets and Outlook. They polled over 1,000 IT professionals globally alongside more than 60,000 IT buyers and technology executives to take the pulse of IT spending in hosting and cloud services. Here are a few of their findings:
- 88% of respondents expect to increase their hosting and cloud services spending in 2017.
- For enterprises with 1,000 – 9,999 employees, spending in hosting and cloud services is expected to grow 33.3%.
- Smaller enterprises (i.e. with less than 249 employees) anticipate an almost 20% increase in hosting and cloud spend as well.
