Almost every time I’m at the press, I think about the value of the written word.
— Rosanna Kvernmo, Co-Owner
When a single letterpress class led to an apprenticeship, which led to a thriving small business, artist Rosanna Kvernmo knew she’d found her calling.
When her husband joined the team and the two of them relocated from Seattle to Southern California, the pair knew they were onto something. Since making the move, Iron Curtain Press has expanded to offer pre-printed greeting cards and stationery, in addition to the custom letterpress printing services that started it all. Crediting both good timing and the energy of their new home town, the duo couldn’t be more at home in their new locale.
